4 Things to do in Qatar for Autism Awareness Day

RSS

1.  Show you care--wear blue.  Blue is the color of autism awareness.

2.  Learn--Take a few minutes (1:57 to be exact) to learn about autism and what it feels like.  We've shared this quick video from teachmeaboutautism.com on our blog

3.  Show compassion to someone with ASD, SPD, or who is a little different. Just a smile or a big "hi there" would go a long way to make a person's day (and if it's a child, you'd get a 2 for 1 because the parents will be equally delighted!) Yep, it's easy!

4.  Show up to one of the autism awareness events going on around Doha.  And if you can't make it to one today, you have the whole month of April to make it.  See a list of Autism Awareness events and activities going on around Doha, Qatar this month.

It won't take much of your time, but doing these 4 things on April 2 will go a long way to make your day, and someone else's.
