At Inspire the occupational therapist (OT) assists children in living their lives to the fullest potential through everyday activities. They aim to assist and empower families and those involved in the life of the child by addressing environmental, emotional and social factors impacting the child's life on a daily basis.

Special education includes a variey of educational programs which use strategies and methods to achieve each individual’s needs, to reach their full potential in the society. It also provides adaptations and modifications in curriculums and materials and teaching strategies in order to meet the “needs” of those with special needs to cope and integrate with their peers and siblings in mainstream schools. Special education is designed and implemented to all who face difficulties influencing their learning, either with learning difficulties or those who are gifted.

At Inspire we provide speech and language therapy services that aim to help both children and adults to develop their speech and language and swallowing difficulties. The SLT will assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and other related disorders. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is also used as a method of communication by our SLT team as a way to get around problems with ordinary speech.
The multi-sensory room can help improve the development of thought, intelligence and social skills. Multi-sensory rooms offer individuals the opportunity to enjoy and control a variety of sensory experiences that can generate a relaxing and calming effect.
At Inspire, pediatric physiotherapists implement a problem-solving approach to assess and treat disturbances of function, movement and postural control that affect the daily lives of children with special needs. Their physiotherapists use a wide range of professional skills to improve your child’s needs.
Hydrotherapy for children with special needs is complementary to our land-based program, to ensure carry-over of functional skills. Scientific studies have shown that hydrotherapy can improve functional outcomes in people with various types of conditions. The exercises can be tailored to children individual needs.
